The Warde-robe is a thrift store in Central Falls offering quality, gently used clothing and household goods to those in need. The store provides a welcoming atmosphere, which preserves the dignity of each person.
Visitors entering the shop find a clean and well-organized facility, with seasonal clothing for the whole family, as well as such goods as lamps, small pieces of furniture, bedding, curtains and decorative items.
Staff and volunteers ensure the Sister of Mercy spirit enlivens all they do, from greeting new customers, to helping old friends find needed items, to providing, free of charge, emergency clothing to women staying in a local shelter. Many Sisters of Mercy continue to volunteer at the shop.
We provide clothing free of charge in emergency situations or through referrals from such local agencies as Project Hope, New Hope for Families shelter, and Caritas Inc. substance abuse program

Our customers are working poor families from Central Falls, Pawtucket and Providence. Some customers are unemployed and seek work clothing. All seek necessities at affordable prices.

Our hours of operation for shoppers are:
11 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.
We have twice-a-year bag sales in which customers fill paper bags with clothing for $2 or $3.
We offer special sales monthly.
