McAuley Child Care Center

Mission

McAuley Village Child Care Center provides care for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. The Center is licensed by both the Department of Education and the Department of Children, Youth & Families. The main purpose of licensing child care centers is to safeguard the well-being of the children served. Being licensed means there is clear evidence that the building and grounds are safe, that the staff are appropriately trained and responsible, and that the program reflects an understanding of the healthy growth and development of children.

The Center has a nurse on duty every day. Our hours are 6:30am - 5:30pm, Monday through Friday. Each "classroom" is fully equipped with developmental, educational toys (including state-of-the-art computer and printer with preschool software) and accessories. The daily schedule allows time for creative play, group work, projects and free time. We have outdoor equipment and a fenced-in playground area. A morning and afternoon snack is provided as well as a hot nutritious lunch. Food is provided by The Department of Education. You can reach the Child Care Center by calling 401/467-3630 extension 15.
